How to Map the P, Y and Z drives

Metro Browser and Cart-o-matic or Promosuite
will NOT function properly if these drives are not mapped

Below are two examples of how to map hard drives.
"Mapping" a drive makes a network location appear as a local hard drive.
Network locations or addresses appear in this format \\Computername\sharedfoldername\

MAP the Y-Drive

Step 1: Open windows explorer or double click the "My Computer" icon

Step 2: Make certain the folder view is showing. You can get it to show by clicking the "Folder" button as shown.

Step 3: Navigate to the FS1 computer and find the "Expanded" folder.

Step 4: Right click the "expanded" folder that now shows on the left hand side and choose "Map Network Drive"

Step 5: Select "Y" from the "Drive" drop down. Make certain the check box is checked and click finish

MAP the Z-Drive

Step 1: Open windows explorer or double click the "My Computer" icon

Step 2: Make certain the folder view is showing. You can get it to show by clicking the "Folder" button as shown.

Step 3: Type in \\Metro\Metro into the address bar and hit the enter key.

Step 4: Right click the "Metro" folder and choose "Map Network Drive"

Step 5: Select "Z" from the "Drive" drop down. Make certain the check box is checked and click finish

Just type the text after the equal symbol into the address bar of Windows Explorer to get there. Then right click the folder to map.
