Steps to manage and backup your Outlook e-mail

Click the File Menu and choose "Import / export"

Then choose "Export to a file" (you can tell the  clippy dude to go away by choosing no)

Next you will choose the file type you wish to export. In the case choose  "PST  or personal file folder

Be sure to highlight the "Personal Folders"  and check the "Include subfolders" box

Below is where you choose where you wish to save the file.

The default location is fine but remember where it is  so you can copy it later if you need to.

Be certain no choose NO ENCRYPTION and do not enter a password.  Using these feature only complicates matters when trying to import  your data into a different computer later.
