Procedure for recording

 Games or Events

The First step is to log into the computer using the your user name

 

You will see a screen much like the one below.

By clicking on the Adobe Audition icon you will get the screen below

You then can either choose the file menu and then choose new  or you may click the new icon to create a new  wave file.

Use the settings you see below

If you want to check the incoming volume level you can do so by choosing the options menu  and clicking on the "monitor record level" Choice.

Once you have begun recording your screen will look like the screen below.

Once the game is finished and you hit the stop button in the lower left  of the screen you should see a screen similar to the one below.

then choose the file menu and click on the option "Save As"

Save the file into the appropriate event folder. (do not confuse the "Recent Directories" for the folder you are currently in)

Use the convention you see below when naming the file  and be sure the File Type is Windows PCM (*.wav)

It will take up to 5 minutes to save a 2-3 hour game. When the above window vanishes without any errors you may close the program.
