Windows states that my anti-virus signatures are out of date
Follow the below procedure if windows warns you about your anti-virus signatures
Click the following 2 links If you are running Version 7.1 (Those running 8.0 should initiate the update through the tray icon)
ftp://ftpav.ca.com/pub/inoculan/scaneng/fi_nt86.exe ftp://ftpav.ca.com/pub/inoculan/scaneng/fv_nt86.exe1. Clicking the link will bring up a "save" dialog.
2. Save to your desktop.
3. Double click the file on your desktop. (it will look strange as the icon is a white box with a blue strip along the top)
4. Click the "Run" button in the "open file - security warning" window.
5. Click "Next" in the "Readme" dialog window.
6. Click "Next" in the "Welcome" dialog window.
7. Check the first box "update software" and click "Finish".
8. Click "OK" in the "Update" window and you are finished.
Repeat the above process for the second file that was downloaded.
Notes:
You can delete the files off your desktop once you have finished.
Your computer does not need to be rebooted for this update.
